For those who don’t know, we had an attempted brea For those who don’t know, we had an attempted break in last night. Thank you to our clients who not only support us from a business perspective but who also keep their eyes on the premises, who see that something is unsafe and wait with me until authorities show up in the middle of the night, to my clients who ARE the authorities and turn up, on more than one occasion, to make sure that everything is okay and handle it accordingly. I had 4 legends look after me last night, and all of them are my clients. It’s so bloody true that barbers “have a client for everything”. As a young woman not only in life but also in business, feeling secure and safe isn’t always consistent. I just want to take the time to thank each of the wonderful men in my life that aren’t only my clients, but also my mates. You all have made me and my team feel like we have endless support and respect. You never make me feel that any favour is too much, or that I am too much. I feel like I have a GIANT group of brothers that lift me up every day. I am so grateful for the Benson & Co community everyday, but especially today. Thank you. Also - sexy trim!

The time has come to formally announce that Daley The time has come to formally announce that Daley is moving to Japan in November. While we are absolutely devastated that we will be losing his irreplaceable presence in our space, we are SO happy for him and the beginning of this new chapter in his life. Daley’s last day will be the 29th of October, but when renovations are complete, we will be throwing a farewell bash. More to come on that. When he returns to Aus, he will be back! It’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon 🖤

Working with straight hair can be extremely difficult (IYKYK), so to make a rounded shape through the profile takes a certain about of skill. We will post another drop of this cut soon from the front, and you’ll see the box shape with the rounded is super interesting, well for us it is anyway.

For Jordan, Lily did a bit of a combo of a low fade and a taper, accentuating his his silhouette to compliment his facial structure. We left his stubble as is, the roughness matching the texture of the length on top, and a contrast to the manicured fade.

We could have coloured his frosty tips out, but the contrast between his naturally textured hair and the lighter ends really added dimension to his cut and draws the eyes to that bold fringe.
• AARON • Aaron’s hair basically exactly what eve • AARON • Aaron’s hair basically exactly what every barber dreams about. Thick, dense, but not too coarse, a bit of natural wave and a whole lot of volume.
• CURLY • Aka, Nathan, really embraces his curls • CURLY • Aka, Nathan, really embraces his curls and we wanted to showcase something natural. Anyone with this type of hair will tell you hard it is to find someone who can not only cut it well, but style it flawlessly. With Randi’s Māori heritage came her bounced curls and she is an expert for luscious locks alike. She used @evohair’s curl balm to define and gloss these beautiful twirls.

We added some asymmetrical design lines and a shit tonne of texture, allowing his natural fall of hair to lead the way with the shape. Products used: @kingbrownpomade dry wax powder @evohair box o’bollocks texture paste and helmut hair spray.
